ACADEMICS
TUTORING
-
Upward Bound has partnered with Academic Tutoring & Test Prep to access virtual tutoring that can be arranged to fit your schedule.
GOOGLE CLASS
-
Weekly lessons will be posted in our Upward Bound Google Classroom. Current participants can obtain the Class Code from an Upward Bound advisor.
-
These lessons are intended to help students to learn concepts that are not necessarily taught in a traditional classroom (ex-study skills, mindfulness) or build upon skills that are taught in core high school subjects (ex, writing). We have partnered with the Uncommon Individual Foundation to offer program participants access to college-readiness lessons through the ONTRACK PLUS platform. These ONTRACK lessons are a valuable resource in the college planning process. Participants who create their free ONTRACK account and complete lessons and other activities on the platform, will accumulate points that will unlock access to other benefits, such as scholarship applications and raffles and other giveaways.
